Whether it be the requisites of technology optimisation or the development of
specific data analysis methodologies, XAPIEN's discovery platform places heavy
reliance on innovative and systematically applied bioinformatics solutions. To
support us in these efforts we have continued to expand our focussed network of
academic-based bioinformatics experts with proven track records.
Working together with XAPIEN's in silico discovery team, this talent pool - the
XAPIEN Bioinformatics Network (XBN) - offers a complete spectrum of applied
bioinformatics competences, specially focussed on the needs of the drug
discovery and diagnostics industries. Driven by what we believe to be a growing
demand for out-sourced expertise, XAPIEN is now offering an encompassing
spectrum of life science informatics expertise to interested companies in the
field.
The XBN typically works on a project-by-project basis, with key individuals
assigned to a dedicated team for the duration of the work. All projects are
performed under the strictest terms of confidentiality and trust, with
negotiable terms and conditions depending on project specifics. We presently
encourage enquiries from companies with a need for solutions in the following
areas:
Protein function prediction, in silico target validation, whole genome
annotation, target finding, biostatistics, statistical modeling, classification,
microarray data analysis, multivariate analysis, knowledge/information
extraction (e.g. database/ontology construction), data integration and general
analysis workflows.
